OBSERVATION ON TEACHER

          According of my observation, my mentor absolutely had wrote the lesson plan. There were she already arranged the activity of what will she do in the class for teaching. The lesson plan actually made for each topic and it arranged for 5 days. So, it’s mean the teacher have make other lesson plan for different subject and the teacher have different lesson plan every week.

            Every come to the class the teacher brought the textbook and already prepared the material or made some exercises that will be given to the students. The teacher started the class by greeting each other with the students and praying before and after studying also checked the attendance.  Every she started teaching, she always recall the previous lesson before teach the main topic. That was the way of the teacher ensure their comprehension about the previous lesson because of it related with the next topic.

When teaching in the class she know how to manage the students and make the students listen what she explained of. She know how to trigger the students to be active and made the communicative learning with the students. Sometimes when she thought that the class not in good condition or like the class weren’t like excited to study so that time she had motivation section in the class. She gave energizer and motivated the students by made them sharing about their problem or difficulties.

During teaching, she not only explain the lesson but also make the group discussion, partner work, game for more drill exercises. Then after the group activity she usually gave the assignment and then individual activity/individual exercise to check their comprehension. When the teacher think that their score already reach the standard it’s mean that they ready to get the summative test. The result of summative test will be recorded as their written output.
