PEDAGOGICAL CONTENTS
For Mathematics, there were strategies and assessment
method that already arranged by all the math teacher in the school. They used
it depend on the materials/topic they had teach to the students because every
topic possibly not suit with every strategies. So each topic might had
different strategies.
But according to my observation, the teaching method
was mostly applied teacher-center. The teacher explain the materials conventionally
and less of used technology but my mentor used other media as alternative that
more attracted the students like the flash card and from that make a game.
For more activity and make the students take part in
the class, the teacher usually make discussion group or partner work to solve
the problem that gave by the teacher. And after they had discussion group the
teacher also gave individual exercises or assignment.
The sources of learning they had was textbook that
provided by the school. The teachers and the students had the same textbook. The
technology that can be use were TV as the projector, speaker, etc.
The authentic assessment can be contained in the
textbook or may be made by the teacher. The assessment may be printed and
copied then were given by the students or teacher can write and display the
question on the board.
